How can I find a good beat?
Like say I want to write a rock pop song (aly and aj like)
How can I find a tempo and all?

your going to have to do research, normal speed like saying one-two-three-four is 4/4 time, and cut that in half (cut time) is like saying one-two-three-four two times faster than before, so I would experiment.

egsactly.. you can have 3/4 time.. or 4/4 time.. cut time.. experiment with what you want.. good luck!!!

Rock/pop songs are usually in 4/4 time (4 crotchet beats to a bar) and I think they are usually played from 120bpm to 140bpm, but I could be wrong about the tempos. However, I think choosing a tempo is up to the artist; whatever you think sounds best to you is the right tempo for your song.
