Mp3 software on your computer

Angel Asked by rubbercrutches 11 months ago, 3 answers.

Do you use an MP3 software player on your computer other than Windows Media Player? I'm looking for something new that offers playlists and a search feature.

In my opinion, the program 'Songbird' is currently the best music indexing, player and discoverer of them all. It's a bit robust so it won't do so well on really old computers if that's the case, other than that it's an awesome easy to use, free, beta program.

Its main library indexing song feature is pretty similar to iTunes but way more feature rich.

It has an integrated web browser which you can use to find new music blogs and dowload all the .mp3's with the included batch ripper tool.

It's totally worth the time to at least check it out, I've been using it for about three months and haven't used any other player since.

If you're looking for a really compact and powerful media player (works well with Mp3's) then you'll like VLC media player.

Google these players for easy download.
