DO you suggest this? we really want to move in together and have our own appartment. this would be awesome. I already make about $750 per month at my job and her about $400 per month. We can afford it easily. I can drive and will soon have a car.

We get along well with out parents and stuff but we think it'd be great to move out together. our own appartment.

I wouldn't suggest it at age 16. Maybe age 18.

You guys would need parental consent>your both minors!! Why are you in such a hurry to grow up? How can you both make that kind of money at your age? What about planning a real future after high school>like going on to college? I think you both need a reality check here, seriously!!

I would suggest it only if it is a well justifiable getaway from something very abusive and/or destructive family environment, which can happen. If not, you should wait for some years. In this case you may destruct each other's future and life.

I moved out when I was 17 and it was tuff. It also put a lot of pressure on my relationship. Though I enjoyed the freedom it was also really hard to deal with all the financial strain that moving out entails. It made me appreciate everything my parents did for me and if I had to do it again I would have waited a bit longer. I wouldn't suggest it right away unless you are in an abusive household. Also take the time to talk about it with your girlfriend, there are plenty of details that need to be discussed. For example, at 400$ she'll most probably be dependant on you for many expenses (food, outings, clothes, etc.), how are you guys going to deal with that? What about cleaning the house, how will you organize yourselves around cooking and cleaning? It sounds dumb but these things become important in the long run and can cause lots of fights between you two souring your relationship. I suggest you take your time and think about it for a bit longer.

hey, I'm 23 and make about 3 times as much as the combined and my girlfriend makes more than I do and we still argue about money we after rent and bills and going out with the guys money and the car and the cell phone etc.. nothing you need but probably will want in the future. so I agree with the rest unless you are in an abusive relationship wait and save. I do not have post secondary and really really wish I had gone to college now. think about it and do research you'll know when the time comes and from experiance I had...if you have to ask it's not right.
