Moving out at 17

Im 16 and I just asked I just asked my mom today if it was ok to get an apartment when im 17. she said she doesn't care as long as I have the money. but I live with my dad and I have a feeling he woudn't be to happy about this. could I move out with only my mom's approval or do I need my dad's approval because I live with him?

well first I think that both of your parents play a huge roll in this situation because your moms not your only parent. Also I think that moving out at 17 is not such a good idea I mean you live with your parents I dont think you have to pay bills and all of those things. I think your going a little to fast I think you should slow down just a little. your putting adult responsibilities in your life when all you need to do now is have fun ! any ways good luck !

If you live with your dad and if he has full coustody of you then he is the parent you HAVE to listen to. If you mom does not have coustody of you then she can not tell you that it is ok for you to move out.
But yea stay at home while you can! It sucks so bad to have to pay bills.
