Move in with my boyfriend

I'm 16 yr. Old
And I have a jo at foodlion I love it I have a boyfriend and have been dating him for the last 2 and half years.
My mom has never really been a part of my life I have had to grow up pretty fast and I am 16 but because of the way I act people think im 20
Im very independant take care of my slef I want to move in with my boyfriend and my mom doesnt care am I legally allowed to move in with him I wouldt be running away I would still do my schooling(I am with pennfoster.edu gettting my diploma) go to work and check up on my mom I just want to live with him so I know im some were, where people want me there... My mom is fine with it as I said before so is it illegal? Just wandering I thought about emancipation but around here in va you have to get a lawyer and they are a lot of money so I just want to move in with him and be happy I used to live with him before but thst when I ran away I lied there for 7 months... Then I came home because the cops were really on my case so I didnt want to get his family and him in trouble so I left...so now I just want to live with him not be a runaway live my life and move on .

I think for YOU this move in would be good, but what about your b/f? Do you want him to get in troubles? Don't you think that it would be better to wait one yea?. Even now you can go and be with him whenever you want. So just be careful.

well truly im not really sure I think your able to if your 16 BUT...there is a bunch of legal stuff but once your 18(or 19 depending where your live) you can do w/e you want because your concidered an adult.

You are not legally aloud to move out until you are 18. Since you are 16 you would need parental consent, would your mom do that? I mean you could move out, but she could call it a runaway. He could get in trouble for having a minor in his house. Are you going to be able to be with him all the time without it getting on your nerves? What would happen if you two broke up? Would you have a place to stay? Think long and hard before you do this.

You can't leave without being a runaway until you're 18. My friend's stupid crazy boyfriend tried to get her to leave a couple weeks before she was 18 and she couldn't.
