umm I think that the mormon religion isnt very appealing to me at all, being a catholic and all, I dont feel one should have more the one wife at one time, and ALSO. they should utilize the modern technology we have and invest in some BIRTH CONTROL to limit the amount of children they have. :]

I only want like 2 kids. the biggest family I've ever seen had 9 kids, that's ridiculous! if anyone has any questions about what mormons are all about email me at Fun mail me. haha I can fill you in.

umm yeah my dads morman.. having a lot of wives is just some stupid stereotype that some closed-minded idiots still think is true. and yes, mormons use birth control, just like most female humans. the same way the not all catholics dress in giant robes and tall ugly hats, and the same way not all christians speak in tongue everytime they go to church, is the SAME WAY not all mormons have 6387346 babies with 489749 different woman. grow up, and educate yourselves on other peoples religion before you say something stupid, and make yourself look like ignorant.

ya I agree w/ tinatodder4. I was baptized mormon but I'm not active. I dont agree w/ w/ most of the mormons beliefs. but , you still cant judge them. everyone has there own beliefs. and trust me I know they dont have more then one wife unless there F.L.D.S or so thats whta they call themselves. and mormons are against them just as much as any other religion is

They have some pretty strict rules as far as I know. They can't drink caffeine? What does that have to do with God? My mom's Mormon best friend got married and she couldn't go to the wedding because she wasn't Mormon. I think they're pretty decent, nice people in general, and I don't look at them any differently than other religions, but since I'm a Christian, I don't really like the religion itself.

I'll have to be honest, I don't have a lot of respect for Mormon beliefs. A lot of it just seems a little off the deep end, especially how the whole thing got started with finding and translating the Book of Mormon, the origin of people in North America, and the earliest Mormon societies in Utah...not to mention the demon-repelling undergarments.

Then again, I'm kind of skeptical of all cults. My family are Jehovah's Witnesses, and I feel the same way about their beliefs.

We can all tolerate and respect each other for choice of religion. That doesn't mean we have to pretend to accept it.

Arrgghhh Mormons! They get me mad! Some boy named Joseph Smith invented his own religion in 1820. He says an angel gave him a book with golden pages, but he clkaims no-one ever saw this book, it was a secret! Oh dear! When the Mormon religion started in America, they were chased out of many towns because the Americans didnt take to them very well.
I think the book is made up to be honest, an attention seeking teenaged boy was our only witness to the origional book. *lol* Mormans make me laugh.
(Sorry to be rude to any Mormons)

Well, I think that LDS/Mormons are great and, the church is beautiful but, its the people they let in.
I love the church and, I'm a member myself and love the church that I'll never leave it. everybody in my Branch is wonderful including my Branch President who has been there for me to help me solve problems and issues. Him and his wife are great people and they have four kids of there own and they are great.
So, I think the LDS church and people like myself are great.

there are so many people out there who all they do is hate on us, they are lame. they go off what they hear and start other rumors as well/
they need to stop being so into themselves and look at it through a different perspective.
they dont know.
joseph smith didnt write the book of mormon.
God did, the same way he did the old and new testaments.
he revealed them to his prophets.
joseph smith only translated it and restored the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth.

my answer is der is no answer to dis ridiculous way of thought and proceedings
who restricts themselves to sex when married onli when your only likely to b married to one person in your life or maybe these days two or three...
its silly in fact when I was mormon years back with my first wife susan we had sex to make our first and only child and she only wanted one child so that ment no more sex for life due to her refusal to utilize the birth control techniques available...
so I had no choice but to cheat on not only my wife but also da mormon religion
now I have sex a lot but not again with a morman
what is a morman... no I am not disrespecting all you mormans and your religion just expressing my views and I wud think many others that dis sex situation isnt sensible
we all need sex for hope for da future aswell as pleasure
well dats what I think

MOST CATHOLIC & LSD...CULTS BOTH SUPPORTED HITLER IN GERMANY.

HERE IS THE TEACHING OF THE MORMON CULT,,,LAID OUT BY THEIR PROPHETS..

LDS - "Those who were LESS VALIANT IN PRE-EXISTENCE and who thereby had certain spiritual restrictions imposed upon them during mortality are known to us as the NEGROES." LDS "Apostle" Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p. 527, 1966 edition, emphasis added.

LDS - "THE NEGROES ARE NOT EQUAL WITH OTHER RACES where the receipt of certain spiritual blessings are concerned, ...but this inequality is not of man's origin. IT IS THE LORD'S DOING, is based on his eternal laws of justice, and grows out of the LACK OF SPIRITUAL VALIANCE OF THOSE CONCERNED IN THEIR FIRST ESTATE [the Mormon pre-existence]." LDS "Apostle" Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p. 527 - 528, 1966 edition

LDS - "...[T]hrough their INDIFFERENCE or LACK OF INTEGRITY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS, [blacks] rendered themselves UNWORTHY of the Priesthood and its powers..." LDS "Historian" B. H. Roberts, The Contributor, vol. 6, pp. 296-297, as quoted in Jerald and Sandra Tanner's book entitled "The Changing World of Mormonism," p. 293,

THIS NEGRO, WHO, IN THE PRE-EXISTENCE LIVED THE TYPE OF LIFE WHICH JUSTIFIED THE LORD IN SENDING HIM TO EARTH IN THE LINEAGE OF CAIN WITH A BLACK SKIN, AND POSSIBLY BEING BORN IN DARKEST AFRICA... IN SPITE OF ALL HE DID IN THE PRE-EXISTENT LIFE, the Lord is willing, if the Negro accepts the gospel with real, sincere faith, and is really converted, to give him the blessings of baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. IF THAT NEGRO IS FAITHFUL ALL HIS DAYS, he can and will enter the celestial kingdom. HE WILL GO THERE AS A SERVANT, but he will get celestial glory." LDS "Apostle" Mark E. Petersen, "Race Problems - As They Affect the Church," Address delivered at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, August 27, 1954, as quoted in Jerald and Sandra Tanner's book entitled "The Changing World of Mormonism," p. 294.

A CURSE ON THE "SEED OF CAIN" ?
LDS - "You see some classes of the human family that are BLACK, UNCOUTH, UNCOMELY, DISAGREEABLE and LOW ... Cain might have been KILLED, and THAT WOULD HAVE PUT A TERMINATION TO THAT LINE OF HUMAN BEINGS. This was not to be, and the Lord put A MARK upon him, which is THE FLAT NOSE AND BLACK SKIN.

THIS...curse is pronounced upon the same race -- that they should be the "servants of servants;" and they will be, until that curse is removed; and the Abolitionists cannot help it, nor in the least alter that decree." LDS "Prophet" Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 7, p. 290, 1859

LDS - "CAIN WAS CURSED WITH A DARK SKIN; HE BECAME THE FATHER OF THE NEGROES, and THOSE SPIRITS WHO ARE NOT WORTHY to receive the priesthood are born through his lineage." LDS "Apostle" Bruce McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, pp. 108-109, 1966

LDS - "The gospel message of salvation is NOT CARRIED AFFIRMATIVELY TO THEM [blacks]..." LDS "Apostle" Bruce McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p. 527, 1966

BLACKS: NO PRIESTHOOD "IN THIS LIFE" !
LDS - "Negroes IN THIS LIFE are denied the priesthood; UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can they hold this delegation of authority from the Almighty." LDS "Apostle" Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p. 527, 1966 edition, emphasis added. (See also LDS Pearl of Great Price, Abraham 1:20-27)

HERE THE GREAT PROPHET OF MORMONISM DECREES THAT THE BLACKS WILL NEVER BE FREE PEOPLE...AND THE CIVIL WAR WILL NOT HELP THEM...

LDS - "THE Lord decreed, until the curse is removed. Will the present struggle [the U.S. civil war] free the slave? No... Can you destroy the decrees of the Almighty? You cannot." LDS "Prophet" Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 10, p. 250, 1863.
