How can I know if he likes me back?

Well....I like someone......A LOT. I have known him all my life, and liked him since 5th grade. We hang out and call each other all the time. He has never been seriously mad at me, nor have I at him. We are constantly talking, and when he talks to me, he always looks me in the eyes. When I go over his house, his Dad jokes that we make a cute couple (we aren't together though). I usually just laugh. But he makes me feel so comfortable around him. There are two problems though.

1. I don't know if he likes me
2. I'm not allowed to invite him over, because my parents think I like him and that he likes me...
3. I have asked him who he likes, and he says its Kristen, is that just an excuse, or the truth?

So is there anyway to fix problem #2 and find out if he likes me and not Kristen?

He could be lying to you cause hes afraid of how you would react. Try and act more flirty around him see what his reaction is if its good go with it if not slow things down.

Guys can just like girls as friends you know. If youve been friends with him this long, and nothing has changed in your relationship since the beginning..then he obviously doesnt think more of you than just a friend. I really dont think he was lying when he said he liked another girl. If he can tell you everything, I think if he really liked you, he would have said you. If you two hang out all the time, im sure he would have let you known somehow that he liked you. But it doesnt sound like he does. I hang out with a lot of guys...trust me, youd know if someone really liked you.

I've found that if guys like you but also like someone else then they will only say the over persons name to you. So chances are that he likes both of you. However hunni if you have been friends for that long his actions may just be because he thinks you are such good friends. Although if your parents thinks he likes you then maybe he does!? I would just tell him because if you don't then you will spend the rest of your time wondering what could've and would've! Good luck hunni! x

u just need to try and make a move and see how he responds liek star_hottie said be a lil more flirty and see what he does cause if he sees that your kinda trying to flirt wit him and he lieks you then he should really start bein flirty 2. and maybe try and get him in a position to try and get him to maybe make a move liek go to a movie together and hold his hand. if he doesnt let you then at least now you know and it shouldnt be that hard to make an excuse 4 it just say it was " in the moment' 4 you or sumthin. guys usually understand that.
