how can you tell if an object is movinng if its motion is too slow to see?

If its too slow to see... I would just place markers in all eight directions around it and wait to see if it gets closer to them any time.

Take it's image with a multi-Flash camera while it's suspected to be in motion.The pictures you get will show if it was in motion or not.
