More heavy people on t.v.?

I was watching the tyra banks show 'americas next top model' and I have noticed that she keeps the 'heavy models' for a while and then drops them... I want more heavy people on television...whos with me??

I totally agree with you. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes! As they say, and it is true, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have seen heavy people that I thought were absolutey beautiful. Most normal people are not as thin as most models are.

I think that it is about time that the average weight person be represented more in the media, especially since a lot of teens are negatively influenced by seeing only skinny people in the fashion magazines and on the television. They end up thinking that they are fat even when they are of a normal weight.

Look at the increase of eating disorders in the teen population and you will have to agree that if the media represented more people of average weight then people would not feel that there was something wrong with the way that their bodies looked.

I always find something beautiful about every person that I meet, be it a nice smile or a twinkle in their eye!

I've never seen a heavy person on that show
...the people who you think re heavy are actually normal
there just perceived as heavy compared with all the other rediculousey skinny and tall models
but if they do have heavier people on the show its just a publicity stunt kind of hing
they dont care about those people, they know therev not going to get far or win
they just chuck them on there to make all the people complaing happy
