Do monroe piercings hurt for a long time?

please. I need some opinions BIG TIME!!!
okay I've been think about it for a very long time (to get a monroe peircing) so my opinionated question is ...does it hurt!
well I'm pretty sure it won't because I have a very high pain tolerance considering...

that I've had my libre,nose,navel,and industrail all peirced before.. I just want other people's advise on it... send me some answers ASAP

It should take about 6 weeks for it to heal, but is a rather painful piercing process. Although typical piercing problems like blisters apply, it doesn't affect the gums or teeth like other lip piercings.

I've seen videos of people getting it done, and read some narratives about it (although never gotten it myself) and they say that the clamp they use to keep your lip still while they put the needle through hurts the most, but if you've had so much experience with piercings and you get it done professionally it should be pretty much a piece of cake (nevermind the swelling). The area is similar to your ear lobe, unlike the cartilidge of a nose piercing or a muscle piercing (tongue). So if I were you I wouldn't really worry about it. Just don't do it yourself.

god no, it doesnt hurt at all.
especially in comparison to the nose piercing.

take ibuprofen as soon as you get it done and the swelling wont be too bad
also take it as directed safe on the bottle for a couple days

it will feel weird when you are eating at first, and like its going to fall out.

I just got my done on firday.If you can get all those piercing.The monroe will be cake.I've got my tongue,belly done twice my nose and I gauge my ears.I think at of all the piercings the monroe hurts the least.They do it fast and it over before you know it.its been 3days and yea my lip is swollen but takes some meds and put ice that will help the swelling.Anyways the point is that it doesnt hurt and you should do it.Good luck
