Get a 20 dollar bill, put it in the ground, give lots of water and dime a day to make it grow faster.

My grandma these when I was a child and I've always wanted to grow one myself.

The Money Plant, Lunaria biennis, are biennials that grow leaves the first year, flower the second year and die after wards. They are self sowing so even though they die, there are always seedlings ready to take their place. To grow, simply scatter seeds in moist soil near plenty of shade. Each plant will grow to be 2 to 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide, so after sprouting, thin to 18 inches apart. They bloom (their second year) in May or June and produce their seed pods (money) in late July or August.
