Mom vs dad

Ok I get really confused because my mom for example will say you cant go outside
But then if I ask my dad he will say sure you can do out side. I dont know who to

im sure it sounds tempting because your dad is giving you the
right and the 'go ahead' part..
I totally get what you mean..
im ALWAYS in the same situation/complication..
just do what you think would be right..
and if not tell your mom that your dad said yes
and well he has the last word..so you can go..
(although my mom always puts up a fight..lol
so that dosnt really work out well..but it might for u ! )

I'm surprised your parents haven't figured this out yet.

When I was a kid, I'd ask mom who always told me to go ask dad. When I went to ask dad, he'd tell me to go ask mom. When we told him she told us to ask him, that was his cue that whatever he decided, she would agree with.

My hubby and I use the same strategy, and the kids only ever get one answer.

Stop asking both of them. If one has said no then dont ask the other!

you need to listen to whoever you asked first. If you son't, then your parents might fight about how one parent is trying to be the only parent. Trust me, been there done that!!!
