How to keep my modem from cutting out?

Since having my psp3 I've had to change my modem to a wireless netgear modem as its in another room but a lot of the time it loses internet connection and says cannot display this page,what should I do? would it help to reinstall it or any other advice would be great

If it's losing the connection, then you might want to try reinstalling the modem. I've installed modems before without using their 'install guide' and had issues, then re-installed & it worked fine by following their instructions.

Also, you'll want to make sure there isn't a firewall as part of the setup that would prohibit your (do you mean ps3 or psp?) device from logging on.

It is working fine at mo so will leave for now but if it plays up again I will reinstall it thanx but for some reason with being offline I have lost all my saved data on guitar heros gutted!!!
