Modeling?

There's this agency in my area looking for models my age and I thought it might be interesting.
So basically I was wondering if anyone here has ever modeled professionally or anything, what does it take? Is it hard? What should I know?

I've nvr done it but I have been offered and I just think its a waste of money...

are you payed? so modeling places make you pay thats b.s. if they pay then go for it

Yea, I would get paid.

Be careful that they may ask you to sign forms like applications and then suddenly spring on you that you must pay a huge amount of money for their time, a portfolio and company insurance and you are paying more than you are being paid. You wouldn't have to pay every single time but once you sign, there's no worming your way out of it.
