Modeling dream

How can I become a model? Am I even pretty enuff? Is their any freee modeliing industry in nj eastern preferablly that would take me in? My dream was always to become a model ..probably plus sizee since im not a size 0 ! Ugh just because I have more but and hips and waste doesntt make me plus sized! But yess someone pls answer [:

Well I think your pretty enough =) First you have to get headshots, from a professional photographer. the prices usually vary from $100-$500 depending on the pack you get. Then you take the pictures to a modeling agency. If they like what they see, then they'll give yu a call.

Don't forget that the career your choosing now has a lot of rejection involved. so don't give up if some don't book you. Dont give up on your dream =)

Don't worry about size. Plus size models are always in demand and make good money. But what do you mean about "Free" modeling industry? Any agency that is charging you a fee is not a legit agency. They are supposed to be repping you in order to get paid, not get paid by their models.

If you're in Eastern NJ, you really shouldn't have too much trouble finding a plus-size agency, being as close to NYC as you are. Ford+ (the plus-size division of Ford Models, one of the biggest in the world) would be one place to start. You can send in an application on their website, and I'm sure they'll provide you with some information.

actually a lot of agencies like size 2's..but anyway...just go out there and see what you like...[I'm NOT saying your fat or anything like that][just saying..so you don't get the wrong idea...:P] p.si think u've got it...just remeber it contains a lot of rejection so be ready...
