How do you feel about babies and children in the modeling business?

I think it sets children, young girls especially, up for a dangerous view on life. Like the only reason for their existence is to be pretty and well liked. Modeling and pageants can warp a child's sense of reality and make them grow up too fast. Kids just need to be kids as long as they can. If they make an informed decision to get into modeling in their early teens, then it's their goal, not their parents' goal pushed on them.

I think its good for confidence but people need to let them have a child hood.

I agree with fading56, I think it's good to boost their confidence and for their people skills, but it shouldn't go to far.

I think it would be a good hobbie but I also think children should live a normal chilhood. Chlidren should be having fun, at home,the park...with their friends having fun...

My daughter is 3 and got first place in modeling she gets full paid college tuition, she gets photo shoots and so much more.

Any my son is 4 and he wont most beautiful baby in Lehigh Valley in 2005 and got photo shoot and so much more.

Its fun but then agian it dont let your child live life there is nothing wrong with it but dont let it take over your childs life. It teaches them a lot of stuff.

I Think It's Fine, Teaches Them About Moddeling, So They Know When They Get Older.

I think it's ok if you don't let it go to far. Like, if the kid does maybe a couple photo shoots or something every couple months, ok. Any more than that and I think it's just ruining their childhood.

I think its ok as long as they are not made to tired by the work and dpont do too many hours. if they seem fed up it is not fair to put them into it anymore but otherwise it doesnt hurt does it

u should ask them if they want to. if they want to let them do it but dont go too far with it.

I think it is okay,as long as they arent forced to wear loda of makeup and as long as they are dressed appropriatley for their age

I think it's a waste of money because those little girls don't get to have a childhood and always have to worry about looking good enough and winning.

Okay Im 15 And Dont Have Kids Yet But I Would Definatly Let My Child Do Modeling If She Wanted To.I Wouldnt Cake Them In Makeup Or Dress Them Up Like Drag Queens Or Anything But Its Their Choice x

it's ok as long as it doesn't interfere w/ their health,makes them arrogant,lowers their self esteem,or iterfeares w/ school
