Missing birth control for 12 hours

Asked by fau 4 months ago, 2 answers.

So my girlfriend ran out of pills and couldnt get the next pack in time for her scheduled time(7:00 am), so she got them at 6:30 pm and took one immediately.

We had sex last night at around 11 or 12, and then she woke up at 7 this morning for her...

scheduled pill.

At around 10 this morning, she threw up a bunch, but it was all stomach acid.

Help please?

If she did manage to get pregnant from what you did last night, the symptoms would not be showing this soon. Her vomiting was likely caused by something else.

The chances that she will get pregnant are slim, since the pill does build up in the system, but it's not impossible. If you're really worried, it's not to late for the morning after pill.

It says clearly on the birth control that if you are later than 12 hours you should use another contraception for a week such as a condom.
