Why have i missed my period for three months?

I've had my period since I was in 5th grade, now im a freshman in highschool (incase that matters) and im a virgin. I havent had my period since october...um..yeah..what should I do?

You should go to the doctors and tell your parents ASAP! Something could be wrong. Really wrong. Not trying to scare you.

Do you have any pain in your tummy? Do you play in sports or do lots of exercise such as aerobics? If so, it is common for very active girls to loose their periods for a time, but just in case you really need to consult a doctor.

You could be amemic ( lack of iron) This causes your body not to get enough oxygen and inturn when the time of the month comes you don`t get your period. The signs are you are always very tired, cold, have dizzy spells, or passing out. I suggest you go to the doctor anyways good luck

Its very common for young women to experince a time without their periods if your involved in sports. Also if you have some changes in your life for exsample a lot of stress will delay your periods. However its always safe to see a doctor!!

Yes defenitely get it checked out with a doctor.

-Sports
-Major stress
-Medication
It is adviseable that if you miss your period 3 times you should go to a doctor.

are you really stressed. That could cause it too. OH! Anyone that wants can get angry with me for saying this , but thank you for not being like the 13 and 14 yr old people on here that are all like 'meh meh meh..se x blah blah blah I know everything about it ' Congrats on being a virgin..I think that's awesome. *thumbs up*

^^thanks I dont know if this would matter or help, but someone mentioned something about medications, I've been taking migraine medication for about a year or a year and a half now if that has anything to do with it too..

migraine meds won't slow or stop a period

people who are anorexic can stop having their periods also...not saying that you are but if you are then that might be why..I would definitely go to the doctor to find out why though.
