Just want to know what views people have on those that have joined the military. Mostly the navy. Reason being is I am about to join so I am kinda curious. Danke.

I was 12 years Air Force - thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it - molds you into the type of person all can be proud - take advantage of all the education opportunities...Salute !!

I think the navy is a noble career choice, you can get a good education. But you have to consider if you are willing to die for our country. It definently takes a lot of thought and what does your family think of it.

I have respect for people in the military, even though I don't personally think it's a smart move.

my boyfriend is leaving me in two months to go into the navy. those who are in the navy must have so much courage to leave their lives behind for years. deepest respects.
