I have had an IUD in for about six months. I never started having periods again after having my daughter about a year ago, so It hasn't been a real concern, but I did spot for like two hours two months ago. nothing since then. Lately I feel like I have to pee frequently and I have had a little nausea the last few days. I felt cramping in my low abdomen yeaterday and then today it felt like something moved in my stomach area. Could have been gas? Anyway, am I paranoid to think I could be pregnant on an IUD? What do you think??

IUD's work by irritating the uterine lining, so if you do conceive then it stops it from being able to stick, thus causing miscarriage. If you haven't had a period since you had your daughter, then you probably would have had the baby by now, but if you are really worried enough then I would see a doctor. Not having a period in a year does not sound right, though, so I think either way you need to see a doctor.
