What if my clique is getting into trouble?

ok here's the thing me and my friends we do everything that normal popular middle schoolers do and well it's been going a little too far... like cusing and making fun of people and get deteion all the time what do you think I should do??

Stop doing whatever it is you're doing wrong.
Or at least do it where you can't get caught.

Get new friends, and develop some good habits, such as boxing at the gym, learning French, or water sports...many things you could do to keep you focused

Making fun of people is bad. Especially if you're doing it enough to be getting detention for it. You must be a jerk. Your usage of the word clique to me sounds like you're a jerk.

don't listed to any of these guys, you can't just bail on your friends. But at the same time you can't expect not to get caught, thats just stupid. Best bet is just to play it cool, don't give in to peer presure. I gave in when I was 14 and I should have been arrested. But I lucked out and after that I straightened out. You will have a revelation

omg they are not your friends... and why would you think it is fun to pick on people it hurts them there whole life growing up... what if you called someone fat pig or sumthing and they went home and killed thereself? how would you feel? and detention isnt good because its going to go on your report thingy and you might end up failing school dropping out doing drugs and so on... stop it... and stop bullying others kids! its not making you look good... you will just end up thinking your the popular one and think everyone likes you but they actually hate you...

Losing friends is a hard thing to do! Stay together with your friends but try not to have the same bad habits. Don't start backing off from them stay very close (but only at the good stuff). Your'e obviosly more mature then them so try explaining to them that making fun of other people is not a nice thing to do.

I don't think graf1cs gave you very good advice, sorry graf, but I gotta say how I fee. For a young person to continue to 'hang' with friends who are getting into trouble, well, that's just plain dumb. What happens when it starts again?

Why don't you talk to your friends. Maybe they are feeling the same way as you, but didn't know how to say so. If they make fun of you for trying to do the right thing, well, then you have your answer. Leave them and find NEW FRIENDS.
