Should she continue this internet relationship?

Hey pplz!
I need sum advice...my mate is in a internet relationship she has been with this guy 4 a yr and its cuming up 2 a one year and 3months.
The thing is she iz 16 and his 20...mi mate lives in auz and goes 2 school with me while her boyfriend lives on the otha side of the world aka uae (united arabic emiraets)
so what do you think mi mate should do?
she said he iz cuming in january but hasnt assured that...

Among other things, you mate could teach you to be a better speller maybe?

Internet relationship is one of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard. Why can't people have a boyfriend that they have actually met in person? There is no way to tell if this guy is who - or what - he has claimed to be. Not to mention a twenty-year-old man who resorts to having an online teenage girlfriend must be a very sad person.

With the spelling thats my fault I was doing msn talk...I understand where your coming from with the 'REAL' boyfriend or girlfriend...what is our world coming to???
When you say it like the 20 yr old guy with a online girlfriend it does make it worse...my friend speaks to him on msn , text msg and via her mobile she know what he looks like through webcam and photos he sent her and visa versa with her.

How do you even know that the pic he sent her is really his? I mean, how can you be so sure? Maybe he's bluffing, no not maybe, he IS bluffing! Your mate should stop this relationship once and for all, and I dont it will hurt her too much to do so because she hasnt even met the guy before!

well...I think the only way she can forget it is if she falls in love with some other guy, or if that internet mate of hers gets caught in the act of wrong doing.
