Do you think America should switch to using the metric system (meters instead of feet, kilometers instead of miles)

I am so sick of going on a website and having to convert pounds to kilos, feet/inches to centimeters.

lol I also think it would be better. We use the metric system and it is a lot easier. and ya also sick of the conversion thing.

Yeah. I used to teach the English language and American culture to business executives from all over the world. Most thought the customary system the US uses is ridiculous, and refused to learn it.

Better to use the easier, base 10 metric system used by everyone except us and two other countries. It's a much more sensible system, so maybe our students won't have to learn two damn systems in math class.
