What are some good metal and classic rock bands??

right now that's all I can think of...

Mmm.. I want more like... metallica, quiet riot, black sabbath, led zeppelin, kiss.
anything before 2000.
cause I'm not trying to offend no one, but the stuff out there after 2000 is poop.

And not all post 2000 metal sucks you should keep listening, a good way to find some bands you've never heard of, but will probably like is Pandora Radio, http://www.Pandora.com. you can create a station by a specific song or band you like and it will play others that sound similar.

well early blag flag is always good and you music taste is personal but I found some non mainstream metal bands are good today. Such as trivium, killswitch engage, and bury your dead, hope I helped =)
