Should I tell the man I met about my problems?

Hi its goodgirl124 again, I met a man in college today and I really would like to be friends and no more no less.
What if I start running into trouble with him latter on, and I don't tell any of my friends including, my branch president of my lds church?
And, my second part to this is, should I tell this person I met today my problems then my branch President of my lds church?

there is no what if we start running into problems, its when. Men and women cannot be just friends, I tried it several times with several different women. It does not work, could give you several reasons but whatever. and what is an IDS church and what would that have to do with anything.

Date people with the same values as you so that you DONT run into these problems! If you think there could be potential problems with him later on then why even put yourself in the position! Dont do it!
