Messed up

Ever since last year iver been depressed. Its gotten a lil better, tho. But I always look at the negative side of things. And I don't know what to do.

Ps: do not say counseling!!! I've already been thru that.

Hey, I'v been through a stage similar to yours so I do know what it feels like. What helped me was having one really close friend-whether it's online, a guy or whoever it may be, as long as you can turn to this person and speak to them about what's troubling you. Keep a diary and write your problems into it-then try to find something that might lift your spirits, maybe memories, something you enjoy, talking to a friend on the phone and laughing about something ridiculous...write these beside your problem and compare your feelings. Life is short so try not to let it go by without being happy and thankful for what you have...after all, there are others in worse situations. Hope this helped =) oxxo

I understand how you feel. It's like being in a rut where you feel like you have no way out. I would do something with those you love to boost self esteem. Or maybe keep a journal where you can only reflect on the positive things that have happened. I have also been to counciling and I personaly found it unhelpful and boring. You need to realise that there are many positives in life and learn to accept the negatives and deal with them accordingly. Best of luck xxx

you only have one life. you dont want to live all said, you want to live it to the fullest. your just telling yourself to look at the negatives, without even knowing it.
depression is just a state of mind. you can overcome it.
