Menstrual depression?

My depression seems to get way worse like a week before my period, like really bad to where I have had some close calls, is there a name for it?

um...yeah it's called PMS but if you are depressed other times too you need to talk with your doctor about it...what exactly are you talking about by close calls? you mean suicide? being depressed and having suicidal thoughts are two complet differant things and are even treated differantly. Either way it will help to talk to someone about what exactly is going thru your head when your having these 'close calls'

I used to have this too, alll the time. for me what really helped was taking B6 vitamins (15mg/day)...seriously it really really helps. You can get them at any drug store. Also birth control pills is another alternative.
