Menstral cycle

My daughter started her menstral cycle. She had it for two months, now she has missed two months. My question is this normal?

Irregular periods are normal during menarche (onset of menstruation)

For the first few years when a female begins her menstruation she it will be irregular. She will most likely miss a few or have late periods. For the first few years her body will need to get use to the new hormones and activities going on inside her. Once her body gets use to it her menstruation cycles will regulate themselves.
