My mother has it, she was diagnosed with it about a year ago, her's is as a result of having chicken pox as a child and the virus stayed dormant in her ears until recently.
She used to also have these bad dizziness and nausea attacks and has lost quite a lot of hearing in the one ear.
What she found that works quite well in controlling it, is a certain product called L-lysine, its a necessary enzyme that normally helps for cold sores and it keeps the attacks under control.
I also have a friends whose mother has it because the phone she was speaking on was hit by lightning,

Meniers disease- having trouble coping
Does anyone else out there suffer from Meniers disease and if so how do you cope? I was diagnosed last year and im having severe problems coping, Im scared and I feel alone, If anyone has any info or advice I would be so gratefull.
