I believe it's different for every person. My niece and I both got mood rings. When she was angry, her's went grey. Mine went pink when I got cross about something. Mine goes blue when I'm relaxed and green when I'm anxious. My niece's ring goes orange when she's worried and yellow when she's relaxed. I think you have to try and figure out your own mood colours for it to be of any use to you.
