How to get my younger boyfriend's family to like me?

well im 14 years old and I've been dating this 12 year old guy I try to get along with his family but they dont like me because I'm older and they think I'm setting a bad example for him and stuff. we've been dating or almost 11 months. I even convinced my mom to take his 18 years old sister to work with her but I just want to get along with his family he gets along perfectly with my mom but since hes the youngest in his family they over protect him and stuff. what can I do so they can like me??

My Mom and Dad are ten years apart, but they love eachother very very much. Seriously, lets just say: When your 22 he will be 20. That is totally normal. But, people just dont really think that it is because it sounds so much younger when really its not. 12,14. 20,22. Think it over people! Its normal! I would just act normal, polite and like myself if I was you. Just act more sophisticated around them though. They should eventually get over it. Good Luck!

His parents have EVERY right to be protective. It doesnt matter that he is the youngest child. The question is, why are you with someone that young? 12 yr olds shouldnt be dating, and neither should 14 yr olds! It only goes to show that girls dont mature faster than boys...at least not in this case! Respect his parents, and just be friends. They dont need to worry about their 12 yr old becoming a daddy!

I think its ok I mean there is NOTHING wrong with going out with him. me and my boyfriend are almost married he will be 19 in december and ill be 17 in january but it doesnt matter as long as you love each other. me and my man have been together for 2 1/2 years.before me and him got together I was going out with someone 2 years youger then me and his parents HATED me but they didnt know how me and him felt about each other. and the guy im with now my parents and his parents both hate us and each other and they dont understand our love. but the thing is NO parents will EVer know how you feel about someone. Just LOVE him or youll LOSE him...

Not because you don't agree with it means its wrong. Learn to accept people's decisions in life and not criticize them because they are not of your liking or what you would do, by the way alexa, so what if his parents don't like u? who gives a s*it, your with their son, you're not with them. They'll eventually come around if they care at all about their son's happiness
