I don't know how to do this worksheet my teacher gave me about a week ago and it's with probability&statistics:combinations can someone tell me what that is and how you solve a problem dealing with this???!!?!?!?!?!?

The thing to do would be to work with your teacher or a classmate thet understands. Although I and many others are willing to help, without seeing the assignment it is difficult to help AND ... you can't post the questions themselves as that is against this sites policies (with which I agree).

Basically your problems deal with what is the chance that some event will occur. example: What is the probability of rolling a SIX on a normal six-sided die?
answer: 1 in 6 OR 1:6 or 16.666667% and these are different ways of saying that there are six different possible results of the die roll, and only 1 (the SIX) is what we are looking for.
