Math help-quadratic relations.
In an Orchird, if 100 pear trees are planted, the anual revenue is 90$/tree. If more trees are planted, te revenue is decreased by 0.70$/additional tree (89.30$/trees if there are 101 trees, 88.60$/tree if there are 102, etc...)the cost of maintaining...
the trees is a flat 7.40$/tree each year.
how many trees should be planted to maximize the profit?
(the answer is not 100... I just don't know what it is...)
help please???
