whats 2x+4=16 ?

x=6 I think

well its easy to work out
what 16-(minus)4...12
now what number can you multiply by two and get 12?...6
so 2 times 6 is 12
and 12 plus 4 is 16

2x=12
divided by 2
x=6

x=6 such an easy problem.

x=6 cause 2x6=12+4=16

16 minus 4 = 12
2x=12 then divide by 2 and you get x=6

Right, if you need to write your workings- like do it in reverse. 16-4=12. Then you divide the rest of it in this case 12 by the number you would be multiplying it by (2) so 12 divided by 2 is six. Making it 2 times 6 + 4 = 16 so x=6

x=6

Yeah X= 6

2x+4=16 ---

2 (x6) +4= 16
