It really depends on where you do it -
So far I've heard the course is quite difficult, I knew a couple of people who took it and it didn't allow them to have a life because it was homework and class all of the time, that's a down-fall depending on your life really. The other thing a nurse at the hospital told me is that massage therapy is really difficult to get a placement for because it's really not the type of profession that's in need, also it doesn't pay that great. It's hard to get a good job unless you have the right connections or make it big, that doesn't happen often.
It depends how much you want it.

Massage therapy
ok my question is how is everything going with massage therapist and their annual income at this point of time with the economy? Are the clients consistent? I wanted to go to school for massage therapy but worried if I will come out making the money I...
really wanna make. I dont want to go to school and rack up all the loans and come out making no money. I want to make sure its gonna be worth my time. I dont expect to make a certain amount coming out of school compared to someone wos been in the field 5-10 years, but want to be reassured that I will certainly eventually make the kinda money I want to make. I personally want to work in a high end spa in a great area and would like to take a lot of clients through out the day. Are people coming for these services with the economy the way it is? The thing that has discouraged me a little are people telling me not to b/c of the economy and one massage therapist actually was not making enough money in my eyes. I would like to at least make 40k plus. I hope I can hear what I wanna hear, cause this is the field I've been wanting to persue for a long time.
