What are the steps to getting married?

Hello people, well me and my boyfriend been together 4 14 months and we been talking about marriage, its getting quit serious, and we've even discussed it with his parents and they feel its a good idea. Well my boyfriend is currently in the navy and we're also talkn about moving in with eachother in 3 months, well my question is what are the steps of marriage? What do we got to do to get married?
Can you please help because we understand some things but we both have alittle bit of questions. So what are the steps?

If you think that you are both ready to get married, and that you both can support eachother emotional, and financially.. then marriage can be good- As long as you both realize its a HUGE step. And that its not easy.

Talk about marriage, let him propose, get the ring, pick a date.

At most book stores they have planners you can get that have checklists of everything you will need to do to get ready.
