Marching band.

How do I look nice in my Marching band uniform ?
and Any tips on how to memorize my sheet music ?

You should not worry about looking good in your band uniform. You should worry about looking like everyone else. You are wearing a uniform because everyone is supposed to look uniform. You are one cog in a machine. Some might find a metaphor for life here.

The best trick I ever found for memorizing music is to memorize from the end rather than the beginning. Most people memorize the first phrase, the learn the some more and memorize the first 2 phrases etc. until they know the whole piece of music.

It is better to memorize the last phrase. Then work on the last 2 phrases. etc. until you know the whole piece. This way if you get lost and have to restart it in the middle you will have practiced playing from whereever you start playing until the end.

-Follow the other members of the band as the beat goes on

practice makes perfect, there's no other way.

1, you really shouldnt care how you look in your band uniform. I'm in band and I used to be like omg this is so not coool I wish it looke dbetter blah blah blah. but EVERYONE else around you looks exactly the same. it's a waste of time worrying about.

2. the only way to remember all your music is to practice it. the more you practice it the more you will begin to remember it.
