Mandy, what should i do with my life?

Hey Mandy,

I submitted this question to you yesterday, but it didn't take... Maybe because my computer had a virus, lol, so I'm going to TRY to remember what I wrote, haha.

I really just have a question. I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with...

my life. I'm a second semester freshman in college, and I know that pretty soon I'm going to need to be thinking about a career.

Lately I've really been thinking about majoring in music performance (I've been playing the violin for about 10 years or so). I'm not amazing or anything, but I'm taking lessons, so hopefully I'll get better. But other people are saying that I should have another job besides that, because with music, I'll never make it. But my main problem is that if I'm not interested in something, it's so hard to for me to accomplish it. I also love animals, and I have 3 pets, but I am terrible at math and science, so anything medical would be bad, lol. I've always had a passion for music ever since I was really little, and I believe that if I go with performing on the violin, I'd be able to do something I enjoy, but I also want to be able to live comfortably, you know? Because right now I'm a college student, but I have to live on my own (it's kind of a long story). And it seems like I'm barely making it, and I don't want to have to live like this for the rest of my life, you know?

I know you're super busy and all, but it would mean a lot to me to get your thoughts and opinions on what I should do. I look up to you a lot, because you're so successful, and although I will never be a famous singer (haha I can't sing to save my life) or famous at all, you're so talented and successful! (And gorgeous!)
