Making new friends

My best friend died when I was 11 Y/O and my second best friend betrayd me when I was 20 Y/O ever since its been hard to make new friends.can someone tell me how to put down my guard and begin making friend. Thank you

well im sorry for what happened,but you must focus and choose your friends carefully,a smile is great ice breaker, and then try to get in group you'll get to know them be polite and nice but if anyone said something wrong hit it on the face . gd luck

Am sorry for u, don't be sad am sure you will find a good friend. Next time just try to choose your friends carefully, you can have lot of friends but choose one of them to be your best friend, look at his/her personality from talking, behaviour, attitude which match your personality. Don't trust anyone easily, test them first like telling them your secret see if they can keep it or help you if you were in trouble.
