Can i start wearing makeup?

im 13 and was wondering if its to early to start wearing make up. What kind of make up should I wear. also how much of it should I wear

that was when I first started wearing make up =) I say go for it. But don't go to heavy on it. Make it suddle and don't go to crazy =) Natural colors are more complimentary to most people.

yeah I was actually 14 when I started...as long as you go light on it maybe a little mascara some eyeshawdaow you no subtle things that will make a great difference!

yeah im your age. most girls at my school if not all wear makeup. try not to wear so much or so heavy or bright that you look like a drag queen/hooker/hoe. try natural colors or tones that go with your eyes. good luck

if I have blue eyes what color eye shadow would go good with it

I think 13 is a little early because to me wearing make up can be fun or sometimes people wear it to make themselves look prettier. The need to hide your youthful face at 13? Yeah, you don't need it you're beautiful the way you are.

you can but like everyone else said do more natural colors not BRIGHT ones. and just use mascara, eyeshadows, and lipgloss.

I started wearing makeup at your age, too.
but I suggest going real easy on that.
maybe a thin layer of face powder(you can do without this, but since I have an oily face, I go for it.)
some lipgloss
and mascara or eyeshadow.
keep it natural-looking, maybe some neutral shades of eyeshadow.
if you plan to use face powder or foundation, choose a shade that's closest to or exactly your skin tone.

I was 11... because I was sick of being made fun of.. because they all said I was ugly...

and usually I dont let people get to me.. but I just couldnt take it anymore. and I started wearing makeup... at first it wasnt much.. but in 7th grade, when I was 12, I was more on the goth side (because my older sister was. and I loved it) and I wore a lot of black eyeliner... because I hate eyeshadow...

but 13 is a good age.
everyone here is right. dont over do it. I just do it because I look weird without it.. I mean.. I've been doing it for 3 years XD

Yes I think its part of becoming a teenager. I was about 14. I actually only wore eyeshadow and lipgloss. You want a soft colr that brings out your narural features. Everyone is right.! remeber that make up is enhance the beauty you already have

I started wearing makeup since I was 12. Now, im 17. You should start aut light if you want to. Dont do it too heavy because it will make you look older sometimes. If you want to wear eye liner wear brown if you want or black , but just dont do it to dark.

most people I know started to wear make up in 5th gradei didnt till 6th. but dont wear to much. it could look wrong and just weird. I like eyeliner masscara.
