I used to be the same as you! I only applied for Dance Competitions! Then when I fell pregnant I started wearing it as I had nothing else to do to pass the time when I was around 7months than spend my time doing hair and make up as I had no energy haha. I use a Maybelline Mousse foundation and just some mascara, Sometimes I apply vaseline to my eyelids to give that more refreshed and awake look! =] If your not used to wearing make up apart from Dancing then keep it subtle, just a little foundation and mascara and neautral eyeshadows
I used to be exacally the same as you! I wanted to be the same as my friends but I couldnt apply it. Firstly, if you dont know what will suit you, buy a guide book from Boots or somwhere like that. Obviously, if your pale use light colours and if your darker use colours for your skin colour. However, do the oposite with eye shadows, use light on dark skin and darker (not too dark!) on light skin. I recommend Boujour eye-shadows, (I use dark bronze and im pale/normal) then I use Rimmel Glam'eyes waterproof mascara, Rimmel concealer to just hide bags, Stilla lipgloss or just Vaseline on my lips, Rimmel lasting finish foundation (Ivory 100) and a tiny bit of Rimmel eye-liner. It may sound a lot but I hardly wear much of it and you can hardly tell I'v got make-up on.Remember, less is more.
Good luck . .
you could always go to the makeup counter at the mall and ask one of the artist to give you a consultation. while theyre doing it they usually explain to you what they are using to give you your desired look. and if you have any other question you can just ask them. for the most part its free, depending on what all you want done to your face. but if you are required to make a purchase the best thing to do is just buy the one of the products they used on you. for a more glam/ wild look you can go to the MAC Cosmetics counter at the mall, the chicks there are always cool willing to show you inbetween their other appointments (4free lol). but for a more natural look try Bare Escentuals, theyre really good too. hope this helps, I know I wrote a lot =] sorryyy =P

Okay so I've never worn make up except for dances and stuff. I don't know how to apply it or what colors would look good on me. Any help?
