Is there a website where I can make my own website?

Yes, there are copyright issues. Most sites do not allow you to copy images, photos, etc. FunAdvice, as an example, says in our terms of service people agree not to upload content that isn't their own, or in the public domain.

As for setting up a site, you can get started with a free blogging service like wordpress, livejournal, etc, and then later on buy your own domain & purchase hosting. The downside to most blog hosting services is they will show ads & network links on your site. However, it's a good way to get started & learn.
