Mailing a letter to the u.k.

me :\ Asked by shawnapear 7 months ago, 5 answers.

Iight I have a friend that lives in the united kingdom,
And I live in hamilton ontario, in canada..
And I want to send him a letter.
Do I mail it normally, like my address postal code and stuff
Then his address postal code and city and blahh,
Then a...

stamp..
Do I have to add anything, or do aything different?
Cause some of my friends say that I need more than one stamp
Or a special kind of stamp
:s
Please help? Sorry this was a long question!

At the postal office you have to ask for a special stamp for U.K. and after you'll stick it you have to ask to stamp your envelope with Par avion
Just ask at the post office

Put his address in as he gave it to you, and put your regular address in, but include Canada under the postal code.

You will need to put proper postage for overseas mail, so you should go to the post office for that.

Mr/Mrs 1st and second name
number and street

county
country
postcode.

(I dont know how canadians do that)
and I'm not sure about postcodes I think you need more than one but I'd go to your local post office to check :]
