Low battery alarm

I have a laptop, and I need a system that will alarm me visualy or audioly when the battery is low because im working or studying and it shuts down, is there any free system I can download or sumthin???

it works and I run vista too... go into it just like stephanief987 says and on the left bottom it says PERSONALIZATION then SOUNDS then CRITICAL BATTERY ALARM you can even test the sound... all be it it is a low sound and could be over looked but in time you could attune yourself to it and realize what it means.

I found a battery icon within my sidebar option... I went and looked for more gadgets and found one that gives me a visual battery and I have trained myself to look at it periodically.

Okay you know in your bar along the bottom where all your icons are and you have a little icon telling you how much battery power you have? Well if you right click it, there should be an options button where you can put an alarm on.

nop, im usin vista, I checked, there is no alarm, I need like a beep or the screen starts glowing red or anything that will notify me when I have low power
