How do you know if you're in love?

How do you know if you are really in love? Is it something you feel? How do you know if he actually loves you back? Aint it crazy how you can love some one so much and then end up hating them so bad in the end?

It is definitely something you feel. You know deep down that you are willing to do everything and anything for that person. That person is not only the one you love, but your best friend. There is no way to describe or define what love feels like.. everyone's definition will vary somewhat. You know the person loves you back by how they treat you, the things they do for you. You can even see it in their eyes as cheesy as it sounds. Their tone of voice. It's just something you KNOW.

What do you mean by hating them in the end? After a breakup you mean? If that's what you mean then yeah.. it is strange. Hate is a strong word though. Plus, that feeling will change. When I broke up with my boyfriend, all I felt was anger. Time passed and then it became loneliness and sadness. It's just part of recovering, I think.

When you fall in love for the first time, usually your stomach is in knots, you can't stop thinking about the person and you always want to be with that person. Your body will let you know when you are in love. Just like sarahhhh said, it can't be explained. When it happens, you will know. You hate someone in the end because of the hurt/disappointment that person caused.

You will know ,cause when u absolutly love a person u cant stand not being near them u love the way they smell and everything that do. you cant stop smilling and ur always happy its not like a physical atraction at all, you just adore that person. that is what love is.

But love isn't something that can be measured, nor can the contents be put into words.
It isn't a good that can be sold or traded or something that can be fully described.
Love is a feeling, one that comes between two people.
