Losing more hair than usual

Hey, I am 15 and I girl.. and I have noticed that I have been losing more hair lately when I shower, and also when I brush it. I haven't been doing anything different and I have been using the same shampoo and such. I was just wondering if this is normal and if there is anything I can do it make it go back to normal... like maybe more of a certain type of vitamin or whatever. Thanks.

Sometimes your hair responds to stress, so if you've been under pressure for some time maybe that's it (personal experience). Or maybe you haven't cut it or trimmed it for a while and it's getting split ends and is generally weaker - go get a refreshing haircut. Or maybe you're missing vitamin D - I think there are supplements you can get at the pharmacy, or just drink a lot of milk. Also, make sure you use conditioner when you shower, and change your shampoo if you've been using the same one for a long time - it's advisable to change the shampoo every once in a while.

Everybody's hair goes through a cycle. It falls out and then regenerates and grows back. Sometimes it falls out more quickly then other times. If this is the case, it should grow back normally. If you're not getting proper nutrition, that could also make your hair fall out. If you're really worried, you could see a dermatologist to find out whether it's because of a health problem.
