When it comes to friends and guys you should always put your friendship first, becos guys come and go as you have experienced but friends are forever!! esp when you find your true friends that you can trust, dont jeapordise those kinds of friendships.
And second, yes I no its hard to have trust in guys when you have been thru some bad experiences, but what you need to realise is that not all guys are bad, and you cant blame the next guy for the previous ones mistakes. Give him a chance, dont get to attached and he will prove he is worthy to you in time.

Answer this Question: "Losing A Friend Over A Guy & Trusting"

Losing a friend over a guy & trusting
Send me Fun Mail
A guy friend of mine asked me out the other day. It just so happened that he went out with one of my best friends. She still kind of likes him. She also told me that we probably couldn't be friends anymore if I say yes to him, mainly because she couldn't face seeing us together. I like him in all, but if something would happen to us, I really don't want this friendship to die... with him or my best friend. He's just so sweet and easy-going. But this would be another junior/freshman relationship and I found out the hard way, those don't work too great (and this guy happens to be my ex's best friend). The weird thing is, I think I'm getting some feeling back for an ex -- which I was with over a year and loved to death!!
Right now, I'm also doubting if I can trust a guy in my life again anytime soon. I've been through a few terrible break-ups.
So my questions to you are:
1.) What's your personal say in this situation with my best friend/guy friend/me?? I'm leaning toward a "no" mainly because I don't really want a guy coming between me and a friend, but I really like him.
2.) Any advice on how I could have a little more trust in guys?? I guess I'm just cautious because I don't want to relive those scarring break-ups. I can't live like this forever!
*Much love,
