Losing a friend

Okay so my best friend has moved and lives now like 2 hours away now and shes been a big help to me and I dont want to lose her and I know we can talk on the phone and email but... Im just afraid we'll just end up growing apart..does any one have any...

advise how we can make sure that dosnt happen?dx

I hate to say this but the same thing happened to me and we never wanted to not be friends. but after 3 years apart, we arent friends anymore. we tried to make it work but even being one hour apart was too much. just keep in touch as much as you can, but dont count on her to always be there for you.

I agree...it's painfull and may be upsetting... iif you can move closer. if not, replace the emptiness of your 'heart' with another friend, try not to talk about your recently departed,you will make more and more friends...don't have more than 10...I moved from cali/13 friends to calo. and tried to keep in touch...after 1 and a half years, I grew apart from everyone I knew since I was 5. I had to end it before I was very obligated to do it, the more I look at it the harder it would have been.
