Losing weight

Hey im on summer vacation and I want to lose weight by the time school starts again. Im not that fat but I eat a lot of junk food and I need help on how to lose weight (without buying pills or special food diets) help please!

summer vaction already??...lucky bum!! I haven't even started on my exams yet!! =P anyhoo... if you want to loose weight... simply exercise!! go for a 1hr run/jog in the morning (6:30 am - before it gets hot), drink lots of fluids (water - to wash all those bad chemicals in your body)... and of course!! start eating healthy!! replace all that junk with things like fruits and veggies =) ohhh... I also do 3 sets of 10 sit ups, ab twists and sissor kicks a night, before I sleep... to keep my abs tight!!

stop eatin junk food and eat fruits and vegetable and have a exercise plan for the summer and you should be alright after all that

Gosh, summer is boring. Every summer I tried to lose weight. But anyway...
I've lost almost 80 pounds in about 4 months by eating no more than 800 calories a day and going to the gym. Not hard at all. Just eat the right foods. For example a day for me went like this:
Breakfast and lunch, I had the Slimfast optima snack bars (they kept me not hungry for 4 hours each) and dinner, I had a lean cuisine or a smart ones (you know the frozen meals you can get at any grocery store). It was hard at first, but after about a week, I got into it.

One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it's not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.
