For every pound of muscle you gain... you burn up to 50 more calories a day just to sustain that muscle. If you work out and stop midway, you'll begin to loose your muscle and gain the weight back. You don't put on -more- weight. So it is definately worth it to work out. Plus it is so good for you. The number 1 disease for women is Heart Disease. So eat healthy and exercise, and continue to do this as a lifestyle.

You sound like you are at a great weight now. Just remember muscle outweighs fat. But that's a good thing. So don't judge your body by just your weight. What you will want to check is your body fat index.

And what is this body fat index? How is it calculated? And what is the normal range?
